Some businesses start with a business plan. Ours started with love — and a little heartbreak.

Over the years, our family has been lucky enough to share our home with some truly special dogs. Our shih tzu, Prince, and our shorkie, Jewels, were more than pets — they were family. When we lost Jewels in 2024, the house felt quieter than we knew how to handle. We weren't ready to bring another dog home, but we still deeply missed the joy that comes with puppy love.

So we did the next best thing: we opened our home to other people's pups.

The Pooch INN 11 started as a dog boarding experience — a place where pet parents could vacation knowing their fur baby was vacationing too, cared for like one of our own. That's the heart of everything we do, and it's even in our name: the "11" represents 1 and 1 — one pet family, one stay at a time. Whether you have one pup or three, your whole fur family comes together. No cages, no forced crating — just a real home environment, because that's what they deserve.

Two years in, we wanted to extend that love beyond our front door. That's how our retail shop was born — a carefully curated collection of products designed to make life better for pooches and the humans who adore them.

We may not have a dog of our own right now, but we're surrounded by fur babies every day. And someday, when the time is right, we'll add another four-legged member to our family.
